President Barack Obama needs your help

As style icon and First Lady Michelle Obama turns 48 today, President Obama planned a sort-of surprise — he encouraged his campaign supporters to sign a birthday e-card for the missus!

Most people receive a handful of birthday wishes from family and friends on their special day, but not First Lady Michelle Obama!

Her hubby, also known as the President of the U.S., included a call in his missive to campaign supporters asking them to sign an e-card in honor of Michelle’s forty-eighth birthday.

While that’s sweet and all, we wonder what else he may have planned for the big day. Perhaps a shopping trip for the style icon is on the horizon?

The First Lady has proven to women everywhere that you can look fabulous at any age and budget, thanks to her blend of affordable and designer duds.

We have to admit, we aren’t surprised given the fact that she shares a birthday with timeless entertainment icon Betty White, who kicked off her own birthday celebration last night with an NBC tribute.

The First Family even joined the fun, with President Obama penning a letter to the former Golden Girl asking her to show him her long form birth certificate to prove that she is in fact turning 90.

Tell us: Whose birthday party would you rather attend, Michelle’s or Betty’s? Sound off in the comment section below!
