Tori Spelling

From 90210 goody-goody to star of her own reality show Tori & Dean, Tori Spelling has become America’s sweetheart. With three adorable kids and another on the way, Tori is the multitasking motha of all mothers.

Tori is a proven expert at many things, including being a mom, wife, cook, crafter, producer, hobby farm owner and, now, she can also add host to that list.

If you haven’t seen TLC’s Craft Wars yet, get on board. We chatted with Tori about being a mom, crafting and potential names for baby No. 4.

SheKnows: You’re a mom who can do it all! How do you achieve a work-life balance?

Tori: I believe everything can work if you do what you are passionate about. Everything I do work-wise is a true passion of mine, and I’m also lucky enough that I can do a lot of my work from home and involve my kids in my work, like designing.

SheKnows: You have a huge fan base! Why do you think women relate to you?

Tori: I call my fans friends now. That’s what they’ve become to me. I’m lucky to interact with amazing women and moms on a daily basis, especially through social media. I relate to them as much as they relate to me. I think my reality show and my books have bridged that gap between celebs and fans. And, I just love people!

Tori Spelling's Craft WarsSheKnows: Tell us about TLC’s Craft Wars.

Tori: Craft Wars is a crafting competition show where each episode the winner walks away with $10,000! I’m executive producer and host, and I love watching people create every week. It’s so inspiring.

SheKnows: Was there a particular craft on the show that really blew you away?

Tori: I love the pop crafts. They are the first challenge and a smaller craft. They inspired me to make a “Tori version” of some of them and people can watch me demo them on TLC.com and my website ediTORIal. The demos are called “What Would Tori Do?”

SheKnows: Why do you think crafting has become so trendy?

Tori: Crafting has always been around. But now it’s getting all demos, and I think it got trendy when the economy went down. People learned that for less they could DIY in their home and wardrobe.

SheKnows: What’s your favorite craft you’ve ever made?

Tori: I love making things with my kids. We started DIY’ing jewelry, which inspired my DIY jewelry line called {styled} by Tori Spelling currently sold at Michaels and Joann’s nationwide.

SheKnows: You’re a self-proclaimed foodie and love to cook. What is your favorite weeknight dish?

Tori: I’m obsessed with casseroles! Total old school. But I find in a casserole-presentation I can get the kids to eat more things. Plus I can make half the casserole kid-friendly and half foodie-, mommy-, and daddy-friendly. I love anything with goat cheese or truffles!

SheKnows: Are your kids picky eaters?

Tori: Liam is our picky eater and Stella is our little foodie! Polar opposites. And so far Hattie is a very good eater!

SheKnows: Speaking of kids, congratulations on your fourth pregnancy! Do you have names picked out?

Tori: We aren’t finding out the gender, but we have a boy name so far, but not a girl’s yet.
