You've likely heard that little babies should never sleep with stuffed friends because, like all soft items (blankets, pillows, etc) they represent a SIDS risk. Your baby can have a stuffed pal in his crib once he can pull himself up and stand, roll over, and sit well. At this point he's ready for stuffed toys. Until then, stuffed animals are fine for playtime, but remove them from the crib at night. If you co-sleep, stuffed toys should still be banned at night, until your baby reaches the developmental milestones above. Here's a super cute stuffed friend, for when he's ready.
