The problem with baby colds is that they're not treatable, as in you can't give your baby medicine or an antibiotic and make it go away. You can help ease the cold symptoms while your baby is sick though. Possibly, you can even help your baby to recover faster. Try these tips: Use a humidifier or vaporizer: These help to unplug stuffed noses. You can even add a couple of drops of organic essential oil to the humidifier to ease symptoms more (good oils include lavender, eucalyptus, or pine). One note, always clean your humidifier on a schedule. They can get dirty, and then moldy fast. You don't want to blow icky air around your baby's room. For a DIY humidifier, sit in a steamy bathroom with your babe. Crane has some cute kid safe humidifiers, like the Panda Yellow Cool Mist Humidifier from their nursery collection.

Allow your baby to sleep in a slight sitting position: Use your baby's car seat as a bed. The propped up sleeping arrangement will help your baby's nose to drain. Only use the car seat for this though, never try to prop your baby up on pillows - pillows are very dangerous for sleeping babies. Breastfeed often or give extra water: Fluids help to clear out your baby's system. Even if you're sick too, you should still breastfeed your baby. Talk to your baby's doctor about supplementing water. Make sure your baby gets plenty of rest and follow basic guidelines for keeping your baby healthy.
