|When it comes to your baby's nursery, you might think there's too much to do and too little time! We have good news for you: Getting started on your nursery project is as easy as A, B, C...||
In the early days with your little one, you might spend more time in a rocking chair than anywhere else. When choosing your chair, remember that flat spindles along the chair back are more comfortable than round ones, and cushions promote optimal comfort. Glider rockers, which use a ball-bearing mechanism for smooth rocking, are stationary and not prone to moving across the room the way traditional rocking chairs do. They are, however, a little more expensive. Also popular are rocker-recliners.
Says Monica, a mom expecting her second, "I swore I would not get pregnant again without having a rocker/recliner to sleep in come the last month. I got no sleep with either of my last pregnancies during the last month or more. It will be nice to be able to sleep 'sitting up'... It will be nice to nurse in with my feet up, too."
