It’s official: Sofia by Sofia Vergara has launched online and at Kmart stores across the country! The new budget clothing collection by the sexy star has been gaining quite the buzz, so naturally we had to check it out for ourselves. Here’s our verdict!
Celebrity clothing collections are always exciting, but more often than not, they’re made more for runway-shaped women than the everyday ladies who will be purchasing them. But Vergara’s Kmart capsule definitely doesn’t disappoint.
Vergara appeared on The View yesterday to show off some of her designs, and discuss the price points, and we were pleasantly surprised. The silhouette and design of each item seems to really flatter “real” women with curves, something that was clearly important to the voluptuous Vergara. And the prices are super affordable, so you won’t have to decide on just one piece. Most of the dresses in the line go for $29.99 and Vergara’s signature sexy sassiness is visible in all of them.
Even the tagline of Vergara’s line seems to usher in a new embracement of curves: “You are a woman, so dress like a woman. ” The line includes everything from dresses and skirts (all under $45!) to pants, shoes, bags and tops.
The line’s release comes fresh off the heels of Vergara’s big night at the Emmy Awards (her show Modern Family won big this year) and it seems like this sexy Colombian is hotter than ever.
