Lights…Camera…Action. E! Entertainment star Ashlan Gorse takes a leap off the silver screen to discuss her hair care routine both on and off the glossy camera.

Known for her bubbly Southern charm while dishing on everything from celebrity breakups to red carpet favorites, Ashlan Gorse knows a thing or two about what it takes to be hair-ready at a moment’s notice.
We caught up with the star to learn how she really maintains those perfect, golden locks. (Plus get the dish on life behind the E! set.)
SheKnows: What is the one hair care product you can’t live without?
Gorse: I can’t live without two things. Moroccan Oil products and René Furterer Dry Shampoo. The best.

SheKnows: How do you keep your hair so refreshed?
Gorse: I always need to look good at work, and I hopefully manage to outside of work as well. I wash my hair every other day so it doesn’t dry out. I have blonde hair, so it could tend to dry quickly. I always constantly condition both my hair and skin to keep healthy at all times.
SheKnows: Do you do your hair yourself?
Gorse: When I’m on E!, I always have hair and makeup. On the weekends, if I have a quick event or am being casual, I do it myself. Although, on the weekends, my hair is usually in a ponytail. I feel bad for my boyfriend that I’m not as glamorous on the weekend!
SheKnows: You used to live in New York, and now you’re in Los Angeles. What do you notice about their respective hairstyles?
Gorse: Since I’m a blonde… New York blondes have the color down right. LA blondes… let’s just say, yellow is not blonde… and neither is white. Plus, it always amuses me how many women you see in full hair and makeup in LA. You always think it’s strange, but then you look at yourself and you’re doing the same thing!
SheKnows: What do you always have in your bag? Any daily hair care products or accessories?
Gorse: I always have my cell phone, my Gucci wallet, mints, lip gloss and a hair brush because my hair is long and always gets tangled.
SheKnows: Finally, we have to ask, who have been your favorite celebrity interviews on E!?
Gorse: Meryl Streep, Drew Barrymore and John Hamm.
