Most of us mere mortals require a bit of makeup to cover up our flaws. For freakishly beautiful celebs like Giuliana Rancic, a fresh face does the job. The E! Fashion Police star hit the Oscars red carpet last night without foundation — for the second year in a row! — and we’re totally jealous. Seriously, it really isn’t right that a woman’s skin looks so good sans makeup!
So how did G prep her skin? We got the scoop from hair and makeup artist Catalina Su to find out how Giuliana created her gorgeous fresh-faced look!
Pre-Oscar prep
Before the Oscars, Giuliana prepped her skin with DDF’s Amplifying Elixir and Wrinkle Resist plus Pore Minimizer and used the Revolve 400X Micro-Polishing System twice a week to polish away imperfections.
Red carpet routine
She didn’t wear a full face of foundation, but Giuliana did make sure to protect her skin last night! The reality TV star wore DDF’s Weightless Defense SPF 45+ to protect her skin under the sun and a bit of MAC’s Studio Moisture Tint.
To complete her look, Giuliana emphasized her brown eyes with Tom Ford Beauty Extreme Mascara and Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Liner in Black Ink and added color to her cheeks with a touch of Chanel Espiegle Blush and MAC Fresh Honey Blush. The fresh look was topped off with MAC Viva Glam Lipstick.
