The blazer is an office must and can often be one of the pricier at-work items. That’s why we were so pleased to find this one-button linen blazer in a cute, cropped silhouette (Nordstrom.com, $88). The best part? This stylish find comes in four great colors – white, wheat, sunbaked (a bold orange and our favorite) and cornflower (a pretty shade of blue).
Sassy, striped pencil skirt
No office wardrobe is complete without a pencil skirt (or three). The flattering, versatile piece is professional and goes with just about anything, from sweaters to blouses to blazers. We’re partial to this chic pale gray pencil skirt featuring slender stripes (oh-so-slimming) and a bit of stretch for added comfort (loft.com, $60). Add a top or shoes in a bold color to put a modern twist on this office classic.
Cute lightweight cardigan
Some offices seem to be perpetually too cold. No matter the season, you end up with a chill that doesn’t leave until you’re comfortable under a blanket back at home. That’s why cardigans are a cubicle-must. Since white is back for spring (it was a winter hit but it’s hanging on for another season), we wanted to share this sweet sweater (dillards.com, $69), perfect for wearing over dresses or blouses.

Having a few office-friendly dresses on hand can really make getting ready in the morning easier – especially on days where you wake up late or just don’t know what to wear. Cuffed, cropped pants
We love cropped pants – the look is sharp, sophisticated, youthful and perfect for warmer weather. Pair with a fitted T-shirt and cropped cardigan for a more casual look or add heels and a blazer for any days you feel the need to be more dressed up.
