Leah Remini may very well be the Church of Scientology‘s biggest enemy.

Once a member of the church, she now spills its secrets to pretty much anyone who will listen. Now, as she’s planning a documentary about her time in the church and the aftermath that followed when she left it, she’s reportedly suing the church for trying to discredit her and her film.

Page Six reports that lawyers for Remini have sent a letter to the church demanding $1.5 million and alleging that church officials wrote a letter to A&E, the network set to air Remini’s documentary, trying to get the show canceled.

Blogger Tony Ortega uncovered the letter that the Church of Scientology sent to A&E, which called her a “spoiled, entitled diva,” and a “has-been actress,” and demanded that the network pull her Scientology and the Aftermath docuseries off the air.

Her lawyers also wrote that they were demanding “compensation for the past, present and ongoing reputational, emotional and economic injuries and damages [Remini has] suffered.”

The church has publicly responded to Remini’s demands, saying that it has every right to call her names and try to block her show from airing. In a statement, church officials said that Remini’s “demands are nothing more than a provocative ploy to generate publicity for what will no doubt be another failed program by a failed ‘celebrity’ seeking to make a buck off of her former religion,” and that “the Church will freely exercise its constitutional rights.”
