Vanessa Hudgens shows off her new butterfly neck tattoo while partying with friends during New York Fashion Week.
Vanessa Hudgens is the latest Disney darling (along with Miley Cyrus) to get a tattoo. The 22-year-old actress showed off her new butterfly tattoo on her neck.
The High School Musical star decided to get the tattoo while hanging with her friend Ruby Rose, and Australian MTV VJ, during New York Fashion Week.
“Please don’t blame me, but I may have convinced Vanessa Hudgens to get a tattoo,” Rose tweeted. “Her first. By bang bang.”
Bang Bang is a tattoo artist in NYC who is reportedly Rihanna’s go-to guy for ink.
Rose asked her Twitter followers to weigh in on what body part Hudgens should get tattooed. “Mickey Mouse will wait outside my house with an AK47!” she joked in a tweet.
Hudgens was also seen with a henna tattoo on her hand. “I was at Disney World and me, my mom and my sister all got it done at Epcot in Morocco,” she told UsMagazine.com.
Bang Bang said that Hudgens smiled throughout the process while she clutched “what looks like a beer.” She was trying to decide between a rib-job or the neck, before deciding on the butterfly neck tattoo.
“Vanessa told me it was an exhilarating experience,” he said, “and was a dream to work with.”
