Rihanna has canceled several concerts lately, and one website thinks it knows why – Rihanna is allegedly pregnant.
Rihanna cleared up the pregnancy rumors today on Elvis Duran’s morning radio show, setting the record straight.
While heading to her next tour stop in Belgium, Rihanna called the Elvis Duran and the Morning Show, who world premiered her new single, “You da One,” to say, “I heard that everybody likes it…thank you guys for playing the record.”
The radio talk show host then touched on the pregnancy rumors that have been circulating on the internet, asking her, “Rihanna are you pregnant, yes or no?”
Rihanna only answered with “Yes, I’m pregnant with two CDs.”
Elvis was then asking what the singer was doing for fun in Belgium, when co-host Danielle Monaro suggested, “How about visiting sex shops? I know you like going to them.” Rihanna responded, “No, I haven’t visited a sex shop since Australia… we stumbled upon this one. It was huge! We spent hours in there just to cover the place.”
Rihanna is referring to her sixth album, Talk That Talk, which will be released on Nov. 21 in both deluxe and standard editions. She debuted a track from the album, “You da One,” on the show.
The rumor that Rihanna may be pregnant began when the singer canceled two shows last week. Earlier this week, website Media Take Out posted a quote from a “member of Rihanna’s camp,” saying “[The word] was that [Rihanna] had the flu, but we all suspect it’s more than just that. She’s no longer drinking — which is big for her — and she has a doctor traveling with us… She is on doctor’s orders to take it easy for the remainder of the tour.”
But according to the pop princess herself, it looks like there’s only one thing she is fertile with for now: her career.
