Kim Kardashian says she will always be a “hopeless romantic,” but at the ripe old age of 31 says she might have to give up her dream of having tons of babies.

In an interview with Glamour magazine, Kim sat down with her sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian to discuss the events of the last few months and how Kim’s outlook has changed — and it sounds like Kim is taking a long, hard look in the mirror with the help of her fam.

“I think I’ll always be a hopeless romantic,” Kim tells the mag. “It means that I believe in love and the dream of having a perfect relationship, but my idea of it has changed. I think I need to not live in a fairy tale like that. I think I maybe need to just snap out of it and be a little more realistic.”

Khloe doesn’t think Kim’s dream of true love is really that out of line, though. “I love Kim’s belief in love and the fact that she feels so strongly about it,” Khloe said. “She has that dream every girl has.”

Khloe should know: She met and married Lamar Odom all within four months in 2009 and the couple has been happily drama-free ever since.

Kim is totally riding the pity party train, though. “I always wanted what Mom and Dad had,” she explained. “And at first I was like, I want six kids. Then I went down to four, then I was down to three… and now I’m like, maybe I won’t have any. Maybe I’ll just be a good aunt.”

“At this moment in my life, I feel like maybe I’m not supposed to have kids and all that.”

Apparently Kim didn’t read her mother Kris Jenner’s book in which she explained why her marriage to Kim’s dad ended, including her torrid affair with a much-younger man.

Leave it to Khloe to bring her back to earth. “But Mom and Dad got a divorce and she met Bruce,” Khloe reminded her. “And you were a child; you don’t know what Mom and Dad had. As an outsider looking in, it probably looked like paradise.”

“I’m your sister and I know why you don’t have it right now,” chimed in Kourtney. “But I know you will get it again.”

Will Kim ever find true love? Will she become a mother of Angelina Jolie proportions? Only time — and reality TV programming — will tell. In the meantime, read the rest of the interview in the new issue of Glamour, available Dec. 6.
