Daniel Radcliffe to take over SNL’s Studio 8H!

Can the boy wizard keep America’s attention as the host of Saturday Night Live? Okay, Harry Potter won’t be doing the honors, but his portrayer, Daniel Radcliffe will!

We were going to say “Ladies and gentlemen, Daniel Radcliffe,” in our best SNL Don Pardo voice, but we’ll leave that to the professionals on Jan. 14.

Yes, it’s true, Daniel Radcliffe is hosting the late-night sketch comedy show and we couldn’t be more excited!

Please tell us Daniel Radcliffe is going to spoof Harry Potter hardcore when he hosts Saturday Night Live this winter!

Daniel Radcliffe will bring his own humorous flare to the Jan. 14 episode of SNL, which also happens to coincide with the release of his new film, The Woman in Blackthree weeks later.

Daniel Radcliffe will be accompanied by special musical guest Lana Del Rey.

Jimmy Fallon just threw down as host of Saturday Night Live’s holiday episode, bringing back some old favorites like Sully and the “I wish It Was Christmas Today” song.

Watching Horatio Sanz, Tracy Morgan and Chris Kattan join their old buddy Jimmy on stage for “I Wish It Was Christmas Today” made us long for more Saturday Night dates with Fallon and our TV.

Daniel Radcliffe is just one piece of what promises to be a good winter lineup for Saturday Night Live, which will pick up with Charles Barkley hosting when the show returns Jan. 7.

You’ll definitely want to check that episode out. Kelly Clarkson will be the musical guest.

What do you think of the world’s most famous boy wizard hosting the world’s funniest sketch show? You did see Daniel Radcliffe in his appearance on Extras, didn’t you?

Then there was his stint in Broadway’s How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying.

He’s not as serious as we may think. This could be good.

Head over to our comments section and sound off. We know you have an opinion, so why not use it?

Will you watch Daniel Radcliffe on Saturday Night Live?
