Tonight the finalists of The X Factor go for the jugular in a voice-off for a $5 million recording contract. That’s all fine and dandy, but it’s what’s going down on Thursday’s results show that is going to be down right slamming.
Normally we wouldn’t go completely nuts over a singing competition’s results show for obvious reasons: They’re too long, someone always cries and the one we want to ride off into the sunset as the winner never does. This one could be good, however.
Details about Thursday night’s results show of The X Factor have been released and they include Pitbull and Justin Bieber.
Simon Cowell made absolutely sure only the best stars in the musical world would be present to help celebrate the finale of his baby. By baby, we mean The X Factor.
During a press conference on Monday, Simon Cowell announced that in addition to Justin Bieber, Pitbull and Ne-Yo performing on the two-hour finale this Thursday, Dec. 22, Leona Lewis would also be there.
Those aren’t the only stars headed to the stage.
On Wednesday’s performance show, the finalists, Chris Rene, Josh Krajcik and Melanie Amaro, will all perform duets, but the names of the stars who they’ll be singing with are being kept quiet right now.
Simon Cowell also used the press conference to clear up why The X Factor might not have been the ratings giant he originally thought.
Cowell said, “I’m cocky by nature, but I’d come off a massive final in the UK, I had adrenaline, I couldn’t wait to put the show on here and it’s gonna take a little bit longer than I thought.”
Gotta love the Brit for coming clean.
