No baby yet! A very-pregnant Beyoncé and Jay-Z were spotted out on New Year’s Eve having a quiet dinner in New York.
Rumors were rampant that Beyoncé gave birth to a baby girl named Tiana-May Carter last week, but Beyoncé was spotted out on New Year’s Eve without a baby — and still with her baby bump.
The Food Republic reports that a still-pregnant Beyoncé and Jay-Z dined at the Brooklyn restaurant, Buttermilk Channel, on New Year’s Eve and sat in a quiet and cozy table in the back.
We were surprised when reports surfaced saying she had already had her baby, as the singer said in an interview to Australia’s Sunday Night that she was not due until February.
“[Being pregnant] already has changed my life. My husband and I have been together for 10 years, all of my twenties,” Beyoncé said. “I just feel like it’s time and I’m very grateful that God has blessed me with the biggest gift any human can have.”
The baby rumor started when Media Takeout reported that she had checked into a Manhattan hospital, citing two nurses that said a “celebrity VIP” had reserved the luxury labor and delivery suite.
This isn’t the first rumor Beyoncé has had to squash since becoming pregnant. During an Australian TV interview, her baby bump appeared to disappear or “deflate” as she sat down leading many to speculate she was wearing a fake baby bump and was having a surrogate carry her baby.
The singer quickly shot down the crazy fake baby bump rumors, telling ABC, “You know there are certain things that are so far, it doesn’t even affect me. I am cool, it is so ridiculous and over the top.”
