Two and a Half Men — Ashton Kutcher “interested” in return

Ashton Kutcher‘s marriage is over and his Two and a Half Men contract is soon to follow — but that doesn’t mean he’s done with CBS.

Don’t tell Charlie Sheen, but Ashton Kutcher is growing on us as Walden Schmidt on Two and a Half Men — he can’t possibly be leaving when his contract is up, can he?

According to a report via Access Hollywood, during Wednesday’s TCA tour in Pasadena Ashton Kutcher said, “I’m having a lot of fun doing the show, working with these guys and would be interested in coming back.”

Is being “interested” enough to get Kutcher back on board with Two and a Half Men?

The actor who displayed a new clean shaven face said, “The deal that we structured for the show is kind of a test deal, ‘Can we get the show up? Can we get it going?'”

He went on to explain, “The show is outperforming the numbers from before I was here, and so I think people are responding to it, and, for me having a show that people like and people want more of, that’ll dictate my decision.”

As for what’s up next for the actor as things slow down with Two and a Half Men and he takes time to make his decision, the actor said, “I have a couple of features I think I’m gonna do in the summer, in the hiatus, and right now I’m looking at it as a ‘hiatus.”‘

We wonder how much time Kutcher will spend with the revamped version of Punk’d that’s hitting MTV in March.

The numbers are up, people are responding and there’s no hard feelings with Charlie Sheen, why wouldn’t Ashton Kutcher return?

What did you think of Ashton Kutcher’s first go ’round with Two and a Half Men?
