Lady Gaga foundation launch will stream live

Lady Gaga is launching her Born This Way Foundation tomorrow! Join the fight against bullying and abandonment by streaming the ceremony live.

Lady Gaga launches Born This Way Foundation

Whether you’re a fan of Lady Gaga’s music or not, “Born This Way” won’t just be the name of a controversial hit song, a highly anticipated concert tour or a 2011 pop album. Launching tomorrow is the Born This Way Foundation, an anti-bullying charity sprouted from the pop singer and her mother, Cynthia Germanotta.

“My mother and I have initiated a passion project. We call it the Born This Way Foundation,” Gaga announced back in August. “Together we hope to establish a standard of Bravery and Kindness, as well as a community worldwide that protects and nurtures others in the face of bullying and abandonment.”

The Born This Way Foundation will focus on “youth empowerment and equality by addressing issues like self-confidence, well-being, anti-bullying, mentoring and career development and will utilize digital mobilization as one of the means to create positive change.” BTWF’s partners include the John D. & Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, the California Endowment and the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University.

The foundation will launch tomorrow at the Harvard Graduate School Of Education in front of guests like Oprah Winfrey, Deepak Chopra and more.

Want to be part of the Born This Way Foundation unveiling? Stream the ceremony live on the BTWF website on Wednesday, Feb. 29, beginning at 4 p.m. EST.
