Amanda Bynes asks the president to get her out of her DUI

Tuesday, Amanda Bynes send a number of tweets in response to being officially charged with an April DUI.

The Buzz – Amanda Bynes Tweets Barack Obama About Her DUI
Amanda Bynes has been fighting her DUI ever since she was arrested in April, but now she’s even tweeted President Barack Obama asking him to fire the cop that arrested her!

As if President Barack Obama doesn’t have better things to do, Amanda Bynes has asked him to help her out.

Sort of.

Tuesday afternoon, Bynes tweeted “Hey @BarackObama… I don’t drink. Please fire the cop who arrested me. I also don’t hit and run. The end.”

Amanda Bynes was officially charged Tuesday with a DUI relating back to an incident in April. Bynes was driving her black BMW in the early hours of April 6 when she side-swiped a cop car while passing it.

“A Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy in a marked black and white radio car, was stopped at the intersection of… Robertson Boulevard and Santa Monica Boulevard preparing to turn right onto Santa Monica Boulevard when a black BMW driven by actress Amanda Bynes attempted to pass the right of the radio car, colliding with the right rear quarter panel of the radio car,” according to a statement released by the LAPD.

“There was minor paint transfer damage to both vehicles. Amanda Bynes was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence and booked at West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station.”

Bynes said not only was she not drunk that night, but that she doesn’t drink.

TMZ begs to differ. They have recorded her leaving clubs a few times and say they believe she was intoxicated.

The 26-year-old has been rumored to be following in the footsteps of Lindsay Lohan. Both are the same age and both have been in the spotlight since they were children.

“I can’t help but laugh at all of you writing fake stories about me,” she said through Twitter. “I was not in any hit and runs. I don’t drink so the DUI is false.”

Tuesday, Bynes was officially charged, causing her to let loose that comment and a number of other ones through Twitter.

No comment from the president, but we have a feeling he probably has a few more important things to worry about.
