Guy sends facts about pandas to Tinder match for 100 straight days

There’s a 100 percent chance you’ve been the recipient of a weird message if you’ve spent any time on Tinder, but one guy took it to a whole new level.

“I matched with a girl this past Christmas but messed up on my first message,” Imgur user msang12321 wrote. “I panicked so I did what any sensible person would do…I sent her a panda fact. And then another…and another…for 100 straight days.”

He posted every screenshot of the exchange in a (very long) Imgur album, complete with every single one of her reactions. After a while, he wanted to stop, but he kept going because he figured that “maybe this is the highlight of her day” and it would make her happy to know that each day “she will look at her phone and get a new panda fact…”

At first she just responded in kind, but eventually she started sending pictures of pandas — probably because she was bored with this dude.

“Not going to lie. I felt like she was trying to take over…” he said.

Eventually it became a joke between him and his buddies. “I would meet up with some of my buddies and ask how ‘The Panda Girl’ was doing,” he wrote. They’d all laugh, but his buddies advised him to meet her.

His response? The ultimate cop-out: “I like to live in the shadows.”

Mmmkay.

Damn, dude… we were with you at first, but now it’s time to either put up or shut up. It’s obvious she’s somewhat interested because otherwise she would’ve stopped replying — or unmatched you — long ago.
