Britney Spears' Pregnancy

After much speculation, the word is out: Britney's going to be a mama.

On BritneySpears.com, her official web site, a message has been posted from "Britney & Kevin" saying, "The time has finally come to share our wonderful news that we are expecting our first child together."

 

They also mentioned reports that she was in the hospital last weekend, but "all is well."

Spears' publicist, Sonia Muckle, confirmed the pregnancy but did not give any additional details.

Spears turned 23 last December, and married Kevin Federline in September 2004. (And now that she's going to be a mom, no more can the singer claim, "I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman.")

This will be her first child and his third. No word yet on the baby's due date, but our best guesstimate -- based on our due date calculator and published reports of her visiting the babystyle store in LA -- puts it sometime in September.
