Rocking chairs are one of those must have pieces of nursery furniture. I had one and it made breastfeeding easier and allowed me to rock Cedar without having to move much - an option you will appreciate when you're a bone-tired new mama. However, I HATED how my rocking chair, actually a glider looked. I'd never have used it for years after, because it was so darn unattractive. But it was useful, so I do recommend one. Below is a much more attractive idea... The Presidio Glider from Serena & Lily: The compact shape of this streamlined silhouette glider not only makes it ideal for smaller spaces but it's so attractive you'll be able to use it for years - in the nursery then in a normal living space or master bedroom. Made with tactile baseball stitching and a wide contrast band along bottom hem for added charm. This glider is also custom made in the USA with durable wood frames, swivel glider bases and plush double-wrapped foam-core cushions for ultimate comfort. There are many color combos to choose from. You can pick an all solid color or solid with a contrasting color band at the bottom. You can even choose a beautiful ottoman to go with it (which I also recommend). Lastly, if you get tired of the color you can update your gliders' look with a fresh, custom Serena & Lily slipcover. Serena & Lily's site allows you to mix and match colors to see the end result. There are dozens of color schemes available but to give you an idea I picked six I like... [gallery] + Serena & Lily
