Just when it seems like the magic has gone out of our lives, a new Mary Poppins is here to bring it back. Currently filming and scheduled to release Christmas Day 2018, Mary Poppins Returns will focus on the Banks children 25 years after the events of the first movie. E! News reports that Mary is drawn back by a personal loss in Michael’s life — so you’ve got almost two years to plan how to deal with those feels. The sequel will feature new characters along with old ones, and we can’t wait.

Although Dick van Dyke famously played chimneysweep Bert in the original Mary Poppins, this go round he’ll play Mr. Dawes, Jr., a member of the bank’s board. Van Dyke originally also acted as Mr. Dawes, Sr., in the original film, albeit with heavy makeup.

Blunt’s Into the Woods costsar, Streep will play Topsy, Mary Poppins’ cousin. The role will reportedly call for Streep to sing.
