Last week we had some truly odd random baby names. You'd think the odds of us snagging a "Sarah" or "Christopher" once in a while might be likely, but it seems all we get are obscure baby names. It's weird. For this week... Baby boy name: Edward; from the old English name, Eadward, from eadig, 'happy, fortunate, rich." Also, 'guardian or protector.' Baby girl name: Frayda; from the Yiddish, 'joy.' So, speak of the devil, Edward is fairly typical but I'm not a fan. I knew a lame Ed as a kid. You know how if you know someone who sucks and then you can't stand the name anymore? Well, that's how Ed is with me. I kind of like Frayda - different, and a nice meaning. About names I don't like, based on people I've known; I have a few, like Ed, Rebecca, John, Anne. and some more. I could never name a baby one of those names because they'd remind me of the person. Do you have any names like that? Let me know in the comments.
