In case you missed it, last week, I did an entire round-up of each and every random baby name we've seen over the last five months or so. This week back to normal. Baby boy: Lancelot; from the Latin, lancea, 'lance', a sharp spear on a very long handle, used by cavalry to charge at full speed against the enemy; thus the name implies a brave warrior. Baby girl: Panthea; from the Greek, pan, 'all', and thea, 'gods', thus someone who honors all the gods and receives their favors. Wow. Anyone want to write some epic tale, with these two names at the lead? They almost go together, don't they? Both are huge in meaning, but I doubt I'd go with either myself. Honestly, because I don't like either name shortened. Something you should always consider when naming your baby. Take my name; Jennifer. Do you know how many people shorten it to Jen or Jenny without asking. Do you also know how much I hate that. HATE it. If you call me Jen, let's just hope I super massive like you already, and I might let it fly. If you call me Jenny, well, nice knowing you. That said, I don't like either Pan or Lance - so for me, it's a no on these names. How about you?
