It's cooling down a lot here in Oregon, so maybe we need some autumn names to pop up. Not that randomness is that easy, but let's see... Baby boy name: Bemus, from the late Latin, bema, 'platform' in religious architecture, the sanctuary or area around the alter in Eastern Orthodox. Baby girl name: Gazelle, from the Arabi, ghazal, 'small antelope,' implying delicacy, nimbleness, and swiftness. Well, it's not a good day for names; not for me anyhow. I'm not sure I even have a comment on Bemus - weirdish right? It kind of sounds like a pet name. I'm not a fan of Gazelle. I know plenty of people like it, it's just not my sort of name. It is a lovely ballet though. What do you think?
