I was considering doing a fall baby name post instead of random names, but you know, there just aren't that many autumn-specific baby names around. So, random it is... Baby girl name: Wendy; a name invented by the children's novelist, James Barrie, by his child friend Margaret. The name gained widespread popularity after the successful release of Peter Pan. Baby boy name: Hussein; from the Arabic, husn, 'good'. That's funny, because one might say that Wendy is somewhat an autumn name. When I was little, I named my favorite doll Wendy, so this name holds a nice place in my heart (seriously, I still remember everything about this doll). Would I name a child this? Likely no, but I do think it's a classic and charming name. Very pretty. Hussein, is interesting because we rarely get random Arabic based names. I have nothing concrete against this name, as in I've heard worse and better, but I wouldn't name a child this. What do you think of this week's names?
