With the holidays here, you may be craving something sweet. Since I know you don't want to blow off your healthy pregnancy diet, try this sweet smoothie instead of holiday cookies or ice cream. free-pixels-pineapple.jpgYou'll need: 
  • 3/4 cup diced pineapple
  • 1 small banana
  • 1/4 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
  • 1/2 cup calcium enriched orange juice
  • 1/2 cup low fat yogurt (soy yogurt works too)
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
To make:  Puree the pineapple, berries, banana, and oj in your blender. Add yogurt and ice. Blend smooth - drink up. This is sweet, but not crazy sweet; just enough to ward off cravings.
