A new study presented recently at the National Osteoporosis Society Conference in the United Kingdom notes that there is yet another benefit of a healthy pregnancy diet - strong baby bones. The diets of 198 pregnant women were analyzed and then later on the researchers made bone assessments of their children up to age nine. The results showed that children born to mothers who had very healthy pregnancy diets had 11% greater bone calcium content and 8% greater whole body bone area than those born to mothers who had the poorest pregnancy diets. Furthermore, researchers have already noted that a healthy pregnancy diet may lower your child's future risk of osteoporosis. A healthy pregnancy diet has been shown to be great for baby brain development, premature labor prevention, healthy baby weight, and so much more.
