We've discussed the myth of eating for two here before. Now however, you may run into more than simply extra unhealthy pounds if you eat for two - your baby may end up with some issues as well. According to research published in Obesity Reviews children of women who eat too much and pack on excess pounds during pregnancy may be at risk for eating disorders and psychosis. Oddly these kids are also at an increased risk of having a lower than average IQ. Researchers point out that even if you start your pregnancy at a healthy weight, blowing your diet entirely during pregnancy can put your baby at risk for the above problems.
