When I broke my arm my husband Jerry said let's go to the hospital to check this arm out. So, when we got there we also found out I was pregnant! We were shocked. So, after we got home we called everyone telling them the good news.

During the first trimester I was puking constantly and would never stop. When I was about 6 months into pregnancy I felt like a cow. One night When I was about 8 3/4 months pregnant I wasn't feeling too good so I Called my sister and told her that I was going to the hospital. So, Jerry took me there and the doctor told me I was 4 centimeters dilated.

We ended up staying for the night. When I woke up it was about 2:30 a.m. And I was tired and surprisingly I wasn't in pain. Obviously they gave me pain medication when I was asleep. About 2:46 I went into labor. Adam Was not an easy baby! They told me that if I couldn't push Adam out then I could possibly die. Well, hearing them say that just made me push Harder! Pretty soon I felt like I couldn't push any longer. Soon I heard jerry say, honey I can see the baby's head.

For 20 more minutes I pushed until Adam finally came out. He was so tiny but weighed a whopping 7 pounds and 12 ounces! I was in labor for two and a half hours! Jerry was proud of me and I was too. Now Adam is in Kindergarten and loves school. Adam was born on July 14, 1999 at 5:29 and will be turning 5 soon. I also have a two year old named Julie.

What advice would you give to other expectant mothers?Moms-to-be when you're in the hospital you should ask for medication because it really helps. I couldn't feel a thing when Adam was born! I decided not to take medication with Julie. Bad mistake!PregnancyAndBaby.com
