The last month of your pregnancy is overwhelming. There's a lot to get done, and you're likely feeling pretty tired of that big ol' belly. What makes it easier is to break down baby tasks. Here's what you need to do at the one month to go stage:
  • If you're having a hospital or birthing center birth, you should get your bag together. If you're having a home birth, make sure your care provider is ready with all the necessary supplies.
  • Order your baby birth announcements if you're going to be sending them out.
  • Relax! Do some fun mama-to-be activities.
  • Try to narrow down the baby name situation. Read; Random baby name of the week round up or The name game for ideas.
  • Be sure to pick up a baby memory book or journal so you can record special baby events.
  • Remove tags, wash all your baby's clothing, bedding, and towels, and organizer the dresser or closet.
  • Get your pantry and fridge stocked up with easy prep items. Soups, frozen meals, basic pasta sauces and rice are some ideas.
