holiday gift guide to help you out - great products, easy choices. However, you may be wondering, when it comes to your baby, does she even need gifts this holiday season?
Fact - she won't remember the holiday much. Fact - babies get gifts all the time, holidays excluded. The upside to gift-giving is that your baby only has one first everything; first Halloween, first winter holiday, first brithday, so gifts are still fun to give. Especially if you get pictures. When your baby is older, she'll look back at those pictures and feel special.
What to do: Moderation is key. A few extra special gifts for the holidays is a nice plan. Don't go overboard. Half the fun for your baby will be unwrapping the gift anyhow (and that takes forever). Ask family and friends to limit their gift giving; maybe choose one very special item, and leave it at that. You could also ask that your freinds and family give to a children's cause instead, such as a toy drive. This is a nice idea, especially if you, the parents, are getting your baby a few gifts already.
