Before feeding a baby solids, make sure she's reached the following important baby milestones:
  • She can sit up with some support.
  • Her birth weight has doubled.
  • She has control of her head and neck.
  • She can show that she's full by turning away or closing her mouth when she's not interested in food.
  • She's showing interest in your food.
