HealthDay News had a nice tidy list of tips up today about pregnancy dizziness. Many women feel dizzy at some point during their pregnancy, so it pays to be on top of the situation. Worst case scenario, you could take a tumble (not good for you or your baby). During pregnancy, your body creates hormones that help increase blood flow to your baby, but the downside is that these hormones can restrict blood flow to your body, thus resulting in a dizzy sensation. • Avoid standing for long periods.
  • Stand up slowly.
  • Stay cool - heat makes you more prone to dizzy spells.
  • Eat regularly.
  • Wear loose clothing.
