The following foods have been noted time and time again to help ease morning sickness, both in research and by pregnant moms:
  • Watermelon - maybe this explains the kid above
  • Avocado
  • Baked potatoes
  • Super sweet fruit juices - which frankly sound funny to me, but not only have I seen this in research, a girlfriend of mine swears it works.
  • Ginger in just about anything - gingersnaps, ginger teas, ginger drops, and more.
  • Whole lemon slices
  • Bananas
  • Flat soda
  • Honey in foods, such as honey in tea or on hot cereal
  • Mints - especially peppermint, although I've heard spearmint as well.
  • Steamed brown rice
Something you may notice about this list, is that many of the foods are high carb. Maybe the trick is high carbs for a cure? What are some foods you know that help ease morning sickness?
