Rolling over is the first major mobility step that your baby will take. Usually your baby will learn to flip-flop over by about the age of
2 or 3 months. Most babies start by flipping from their tummy to their back. Later, at about 5 months of age your baby will master the harder back to tummy flip. Baby roll overs are fun and a good sign of
healthy baby development, but you need to be aware of some safety points: Even if you've never seen your baby roll over, never leave her alone on a changing table or other elevated surface. Babies like to be tricky and surprise you. A totally non-mobile tot may bolt into a roll and roll right off a changing table. Make sure your baby has a safe rolling area. I.e not near the fireplace hearth or wall. It's nice to spread a blanket out on the floor and allow your tot to get some
tummy time, which lets her to practice rolling as well.
