Some parents seem to naturally catch on to play-time with their baby. Maybe they had little siblings, maybe they've always babysat, or maybe they're just got hyper responsive babies. what to do with a baby all day - even during playtime.
Here are some baby playtime tips: Give your baby space: Constantly trying to play with an entertain your baby will make you tired and can annoy your baby. Allow your baby some alone time each day, in his swing, on the floor, or in his crib.
Choose happy times: If your baby is cranky, hungry, or sleepy, it's not a good time to play. Make sure that fun-time is actually fun by playing when your baby wants to play.
The game is over: Your baby may adore peek-a-boo, but suddenly can look upset by the game. Take cues from your baby about how long playtime should last. Little babies usually can't handle too long of playtime sessions. As your baby grows, he''' enjoy longer and more frequent playtime.
Make playtime a learning experience, but don't overdo it: Playtime can be learning time. You can teach colors, congratulate your baby on learning to shake a rattle, or work on language, but keep in mind that playtime should mostly be fun.
