Soybeans are healthy in moderation for little ones. My son has loved them since he was a baby (mashed) and still love them now (whole). According to the United Soybean Board, 64 clinical research studies show that soy protein directly lowers cholesterol levels and improves other lipids in children. Soybeans also provide high-quality protein without the high levels of saturated fat found in many meats. Pineapple is also healthy. While it is a little high in sugar, it's also a decent source of Dietary Fiber, Thiamin, Vitamin B6 and Copper, and a very good source of Vitamin C and Manganese.
