Babies are expensive. Two babies at once are VERY expensive. Or are they? If you're having twins, you will, no doubt have extra unavoidable costs, like extra doctor appointments, diapers and as they grow, more food but you can still save money if you're having twins. There are many things you can do with a set of twins to save money that are typical to things you'd do with a single baby, such as...
- Breastfeed - yup mamas of twins can breastfeed and it's WAY cheaper than formula.
- Co-sleep - it's more crowded but still doable, then you don't need cribs.
- Go reusable - cloth diapers and cloth baby wipes save you cash no matter how many babies you have.Guess how much you'll save by using cloth diapers for your twins - depending on the type of disposable diapers you use, you'll save $1,200 to$ 4,000 over 2.5 years. That's a lot of cash.
- Don't buy stuff that your baby doesn't need. If one baby doesn't need it, you sure as heck shouldn't pay for two.
