Researchers from the University of Montreal and the Sainte-Justine University Hospital Research Centre recently found out that a mama's voice will activate the parts of a newborn's brain that's responsible for language learning. The research team made this discovery after they recorded the brains of newborns, within 24 hours of their birth. Baby brain signals also showed that babies did respond to the voices of other women, but these voices only activated voice recognition parts of the brains, not language learning. This is a pretty cool discovery because it shows just how important early bonding is and how, from a scientific standpoint, a mama's voice is special for a baby. You also might like to read: *Source
