Recalled Graco Classic Wood Highchair

Around 90,000 Graco Classic Wood Highchairs have been recalled due to a fall hazard from the chair detaching from the base.

Product Description: This recall involves approximately 86,000 Graco Classic Wood Highchairs that were sold in the US and around 3400 that were sold in Canada. The recall involves all Graco brand Classic Wood Highchairs that came in three different wood finishes. The chair features a bottom leg assembly, a chair and a removable tray and has a beige seat cover.

The model number can be found on a label on the underside of the seat assembly -- 3C00BPN, 3C00BPN TC, 3C00CHY, 3C00CHY TC, 3C00CPO or 3C00CPO TC.

Where/when it was sold: These recalled chairs were sold at Babies R Us, Burlington Coat Factory and other retail stores nationwide and at Target.com and Walmart.com and other online retailers between September 2007 and December 2010 for around $130.

Reason for recall: The CPSC and Graco have issued this voluntary recall due to 58 reports of the chair becoming detached from the leg assembly. There have been nine reports of children falling due to the issue, and one report of a concussion in Canada.

What you need to do: Stop using the recalled highchair immediately and contact Graco for a free repair kit.
